About me…
I am a Capricorn.
I am 30 (how did that happen?) years old.
I have been a photographer for 10+ years.
I am a stay at home mom with a home run studio.
IDP is a real life portrait photography studio run by me and my husband, Jeremy. (Jer is amazing, by the way)
Some past jobs include Golf Course Attendant, Target Cashier, Photographer’s Assistant, Park Ranger.
I went to school for Law Enforcement.
I had a crush on my husband in MS, he took me to Prom in HS, we lost touch for 8 years and now we are married for 5 years.
My schooling, my jobs and the support of my family and friends (and of course Jer) all had something to do with our opening Image Design Photography.
Our son, Jack is the inspiration for our work. He is a 3 year old little monkey. (monkey = boy)
We have a yellow cat, Eddie and a pug dog, Lucy (Lucy was a circus dog in a previous life).
Jer rocks as a dad, husband and partner. We make a great team.
People call me Jes (with one S).
Oreos barely last a day in this house.
I prefer being barefoot… all the time.
Jer and I LOVE movies…and a whole host of TV shows. (even some reality shows)
I put pepper, and I mean a lot of pepper, on just about everything.
I love to sleep and I miss it very much.
I am pretty sure I would have been a wonderful race car driver.
I do not make my bed.
Traveling and camping are two of my favorite things.
I adore pajamas, a cool night and bad 80’s movies.
Blue drinks are my favorite.
We have a sock box and I use it.
I have hiked to the top of Mt. Rushmore.
God has blessed us with a rich life. We are so thankful.
This is me in a nutshell.
My husband and I opened IDP in 2005, but I have been a photographer for about 10 years. We are a perfect team. I do most of the photography and run the business and he assists, although he is doing more and more photography, but his passion is digital work and web design. We pride ourselves in our work and are always pursuing new avenues and broadening our skills. We named our business Image Design Photography because that is what we are doing.. designing an image, hopefully yours!
