Beth + Jarrod MARRIED!

WOW, my cousin Beth makes a beautiful Bride! Good weather + great people = a wonderful time taking photos! That about sums it up. The day was filled with laughter and good tears and a whole heck of a lot of fun!

Beth and Jarrod, enjoy your honeymoom in Mexico! I can’t wait for you to see your photos when you get back!

Love you both!

Cory + Kara

Meet Cory and Kara!

My family and I took a much needed vaca to Denver, CO this weekend and we detoured to Ft. Collins and Greeley and met up with Kara, a long time friend of ours for some engagement photos! We met her fiance Cory for the first time this weekend and right away we liked him. :)   But really, anyone who knows Kara knows that whoever she said YES to has got to be pretty great. And he really is a lucky guy! So…WE.HAD.A.BLAST! Including my son, Jack, who ran Kara’s mother around the CSU campus while we took photos (and VIDEO!) Thank you Maggie. Jack asked for you today. He wanted to play with you and Dixie, the dog he met on campus. :)

So here is a sample of our day together! We hope to share some video of our fun couple very soon. And we look forward to Cory and Kara’s Wedding!

Alex

I’m gearing up for 2011 Seniors this summer and thought I would share a recent collage order for a Graduation Party. Here is Alex. Sorry girls, he isn’t local. He’s a Nebraska boy! I think we hit up most of my favorite locations last summer.

I have been scouting out some new locations lately. Looking forward to trying them out!

Send your soon to be Seniors my way. I will be running a great special for all the early bird bookings. Details coming soon!

Beautiful Darby

What a cutie pie! I met Darby and her folks Easter weekend and this is a small sample of what I photographed. Darby was so sweet and such a trooper for photos. I could not get enough of her big blue eyes!

101 in 1,001

Awhile back I read a fellow photographer’s blog about this project she had heard about from someone else. It’s called 101 in 1,001. It’s the Day Zero Project. Check it out at http://dayzeroproject.com/ and http://www.facebook.com/dayzero Basically it is a challenge to complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1,001 days.

I love lists. In fact I love them so much that I drive my husband a little nuts with them on sticky notes all over the place. He recently bought me a little notebook I could keep in my purse because I just can’t get a hang of the digital/electronic “lists” and calendars he tries to get me to use on my phone. There is something about writing it down and being able to cross it off that I love! Now I have two little notebooks and my calendar I keep with me to help keep me organized and motivated.

Anyway, I decided to take the challenge like my new photography buddy Laura did. I even borrowed something from her list. #72. Hafta have it!

My start date was yesterday March 15, 2010 and my end date is December 10, 2013. I will keep you all posted on how I am doing. I hope some of you take the challenge and write your own list and be inspired to set and achieve your personal goals in life. Make it fun. That is what life is all about!
